Does anyone know what's happened to the dSA? I was right in the middle of reading a fic there, and then the page went white and all my attempts to get back into the archive are blocked...and when I try to get there via the Wayback Machine, I get a message "sorry, that URL has been blocked from the Wayback Machine".

(And the fic I was right in the middle of reading seems to have been archived NOWHERE ELSE..that really hurts.)

So, I'm writing a giftfic (that I originally intended to be quite short) which is currently standing at two and a half thousand words, and about half finished.

Normally I would ask

ride_4ever for help, but she's doing the last minute work on the BB draft, to be posted later tonight.

The story I'm working on explores Fraser's relationship to the Great Lakes, including specifically 'the Lake they call Michigan.' It starts during Pizzas and Promises, with him finding Ray(V) drowned in the boot of the car, and the promise he has to make to the 'Lady of the Lake' to win back his life. So far I'm halfway through Mountie on the Bounty, and I have a question about narrative point of view (and also, what the heck have I got into here?) If there is anyone out there who likes a bit of creepiness with their dS and wants to give me some feedback, I'd be grateful.

As some of you know I've finished Shadow of the Bookman, covering Ray's time before, during and after Vegas - why he went there, what it cost him.

So, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the show, a 'zine is in the offing. However, said 'zine needs pictures of our hero, Ray Vecchio - anyone who wants to be part of this event let me know and I'll get back to you with details.

The plan is to present David Marciano with a copy of said 'zine at the convention this year. He may never read it, but at least he'll know his fangirls are still thinking about him.
