due South Archive : question to the comm

Does anyone know what's happened to the dSA? I was right in the middle of reading a fic there, and then the page went white and all my attempts to get back into the archive are blocked...and when I try to get there via the Wayback Machine, I get a message "sorry, that URL has been blocked from the Wayback Machine".

(And the fic I was right in the middle of reading seems to have been archived NOWHERE ELSE..that really hurts.)

The server must be down. I tried to access it twice, it gave me the "connecting" message for about five minutes and then I got the "connection to the server was reset" message.

Question is whether or not the server is down for good....and/or if the Archive has been moved again....

You mean the squidge one? I just tried it and it's working okay for me, so I think it was just temporarily broken (again).

TYK, wag (et al) for responding to this. I found out there was a hacker attack and the site owner took it offline just long enough to fix things. If I had been blissfully asleep it would have gone off and then come back on without my noticing and my running to the comm in a panic...but I was up all night stressing out about jury duty today, dependent on reading fic for some comfort, and "losing" a fic in mid-read when I was so invested in it and in such an already- fragile state sent me into a tailspin.

Who on earth would hack the K/S archive? Gees. I hope you're feeling better now! *hugs*

Hackers will have their wretched "fun" across all fandoms...in this case though it was the due South Archive on Squidge but it was also a bunch of other fic archives hosted by Squidge...all okay now though.

Home from jury duty now and going to finish reading that fic in the dSA now.
