Do all you crazy rock 'n roll kids know this?

There is an entire day and ethnic/holiday tradition about the Polish version of jelly doughnuts. These are called Paczki and of course, Paczki Day. (Wiki article here)

Does anyone else think this would be Diefenbaker's All Time Favorite Holiday? Honestly, as a topic I thought it was simply rife with dS ficcy goodness.

Paczki are the best thing ever--not quite doughnuts, but jelly filled and fantastic. And the parades and stuff on Shrove Tuesday are awesome--maybe not Dief's taste, but Fraser would certainly get a kick out of them.

I'm not saying I'd write it, just that I would totally be behind other people writing it. And that I'd be happy to share some experiences, if anyone wants more background. You know, in furtherance of fic.

Yeah, I really had nothing useful to add, just the love. The past couple years I've been out on the East Coast during paczki season, and that makes me sad.
