I was attempting to describe Gearbox's "Movie Plot" outline to someone the other day, and failing miserably. Since I've dug up the link (and the link to the story referenced within it), I figured I'd share it with everyone.

Had never come across this before, so many thanks to lynnmonster for pointing it out. This synopsis is sheer brilliance; Gearbox should obviously be writing it for real (in an ideal world ..... sigh ...) but maybe even in this world she could be persuaded to write more of it? The existing scene is so good already! This film is going to be so funny ... and heartrending .... and exciting (in every sense); I can't wait to see the bit early on where Fraser is trying with infinite courtesy, patience and ceremony to get some information about the polar-bear cubnapping from leaders of the community only to have Ray look up from the (slightly punkish) young guy's snowmobile he just helped fix and it turns out the guy just told him all about it over the repair job; and of course I can't wait to see the ending .... 'cause that's going to make me feel so happy (and so .... happy. ahem.). Write more, write more! Virtual cinemas full of virtual red plush seats full of real audience await .... (throws flowers at screen).
