Aug. 27th, 2004 02:21 pmYes, I'm not giving up on the idea. Here's a little weekend reading.
Title: Strange Glue (series)
Author: Necessary Angel
Pairing: F/K (ref to F/V, K/other)
Category: slash
Link: 1. Dark Clouds
2. Change in Season
3. Yesterday's Through
4. Sorrow Floats
5. Water Damage
Three years is an age in this fandom, so I think this series rates as a classic.
This is a long and fairly angsty trip to a possible happy future. Both Ben and Ray are still dealing with the fallout from past relationships and old habits seem to dog them at every turn. Plus Ray's past intrudes fairly violently into the present. Once that's over there's another case to work on, and really, I have a thing for case-stories. It's good to have the boys working together and focussing on something else besides wanting to fuck each other blind but thinking that the other is not interested! Don't worry, they do get their quota of fucking in, and there is hope that they've finally got their shit together by the end, although not without a classic Bob head-kicking.
