Oh, er, and the stories are splended, too. The Elevator Chronicles were original and charming--with an amazing, fresh Ray voice--but I have to admit that Hearts and Flowers made me absolutely oogly in an old-skool, happy-fannish way I haven't felt since, probably, 1997. Really, really nice work here and I hope it's the beginning of a fannish deluge!

Wow. These are very, very gorgeous. Both characters are so well written and the romance is sweet without being cloying. I read on your LJ that these are your first slash fics - truly a wonderful debut! I hope you'll write much more in this fandom.

Oh, well, they're just fabulous. I particularly like The Elevator Diaries. Especially the last scene. Just what had they been up to when Mrs Smithson got in?

In the original concept, Ray was undoing Fraser's uniform with his teeth. In the final draft? Well, you know how it is, with the elevators and the mirrors and the smelly sticky carpet and so on. *grin*

*post-posting grimace* Smelly sticky carpet? Nuh-huh. Wouldn't it be lino in a mid-range apartment block elevator? This is why I need beta (this, and so many other reasons). ;-)

What he does do is to show me his other hand, where he's clasping a big clump of brilliant red opium poppies. They're all raggledy and some of them are trailing roots and tiny clods of dirt like he just grabbed them and tugged them out of the ground. But they're beautiful, too.
