I rarely watch vids, but--oh, I'm glad I watched this one! First of all, I love the song choice here--that's one of my favorite Aimee songs; so evocative. And second you wove the story (a story? I don't know if I took from it what you were intending, but still) together perfectly with the words.

And I'm always curious about audience interpretation, so I'd love to know the story that you got out of the vid.

You know, on second watching, I'm not sure I just one interpretation. The first time through, I think I read it (well, can't really say "read it," rather "saw it") through the lenses of an F/K shipper, which had Fraser thinking through all these moments of his past, both with RayK and Victoria, trying to figure out just what it is he feels for RayK, and wondering whether he can handle it, considering what happened last time he got involved with someone. I could see Fraser being worried about ever opening up to anyone again, because he'd think it's dangerous. He'd want it, but be worried—If you're what I need, just come on baby give me that fix, or whatever the line is.

The second time through, I also saw a different view--more gen, I suppose you'd say--where Fraser was thinking about his past with Victoria and trying to convey to Ray just what kind of person he (Fraser) was, and the implications that his relationship with V have about his character (I'm sure he imagines it says nothing good about him.)

I dont' know. Maybe I'm totally off the mark—I'm much better equipped to deal with written rather than visual communication! I'd be curious to know what you were intending. :)
