Pimping, Pimping, 1 2 3...

After a day or two of debate, the decision of when to pimp my new communities was kindly taken out of my hands by kijikun, who started pimping them on her journal. Thus, I have to introduce them properly.

*Clears throat*

The Chronology Project (ds_chronology), started as a response to a question on dues_research and has grown. It will eventually contain a full time-line for the show (based on dates given with and, when those aren't available, seasonal clues and air dates.), an episode by episode breakdown of events, and character-specific timelines. I'm still waiting on reviews from most of my volunteers (And I could use a few more, if anyone wants to watch 5 episodes of DS and take notes *Blinks innocently*), so the season-by-season and character chronos aren't up yet. The general show timeline is starting to take shape. This is just a reference comm, it's not for general posting.

There are 3 adjunts to the CP. These are open to posting by anyone with information, although anything OT is will be deleted. These are research communities.

1. Benton Fraser's Inuit Archive ds_inuit_tales is going to be a repository for every anecdote mentioned in the show that involves the Inuit or members of any other First Nations tribe. Regs for posting are in the Userinfo.

2. Growing Up Cold grow_up_cold is the counterpoint to the Inuit Archive. It's for every story Benton Fraser tells about his years before coming to Chicago. It will be indexed via memories and tags according to both the season a story was mentioned and what age he was when it occured. Regs for posting are in the Userinfo as well.

3. My Father Said my_father_said is home to every bit of advice Bob Fraser ever gave, and every tale he ever told about "the good old days". It will be indexed by season via memories and tags, as well as having a tag for those stories including Frobisher. Posting regs can be found in the Userinfo.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who still owes you episode notes, lol. I'll be working on those this weekend. And now I have to run off and take a look at these other communities as well. :-)

*G* nope, I told most of my volunteers that I wanted the reviews finished by mid-August, so you've got a couple weeks left. mlyn has been a dear and whipped hers off, and since she's start of Season 1 it means I have to get *my* butt in gear and get things posted since I now have no excuses re:starting.

With the adjunct comms, either you can post the anecdotes directly, or I can post them for you if you'd rather as long as you indicate in the reviews where an anecdote pops up so I can find it easily in the ep. Either way is fine with me (In case you're getting RL constraint issues).

*G* I have hopes for the project.
