Okay.... takes deep breath. This will be my first real due south story. I did a couple of challange entries to get into the swing, but this is a little longer. I really hope you all enjoy it.

PAIRING: RayK/Fraser
CATEGORY: Humor, pre-slash
RATING: PG13 for bad language
SUMMARY: Ray and Fraser must spend 72 hours handcuffed together for charity. Difficult enough without the added complication of Ray getting kidnapped. So, we have Big Bird and the Cookie monster, Indiana Sheriffs, escapes on horseback and melons... dont forget the melons. And through it all, Ray's half-formed suspicions about his partner begin to ... solidify!
NOTES: No sex in this one, but I'm planning a sequel. My thanks go out to Ximeria for cheerleading, alpha reading and generally being a good friend, and to Sally, my ds beta and Jude, my sg beta for a sterling job on the commas, colons, and a whole lot more besides.

You can find the fic, and the artwork for it here:

I really, really enjoyed that. I envy anyone who can write a long dS fic in the first place because my max word count seems to be around 500, but beyond that, it was just really great. Funny and wonderfully in character and a good story. I loved this.

I'd definitely be most interested in reading a sequel to this :) It's got such a nice ending, all the potential...

Just got finished reading it. What a ride! Wacky and crazy, very much like an episode. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Wonderful!

I just devoured your story. It was funny, thrilling and also very touching. Don't mind that you can't write shorter stories - I know I don't mind either. ;-)
I mostly loved to see a glimpse of Fraser that sometimes is neglected - namely that he is human, gets to pout once in a while, get grouchy, is joking around, and isn't really 100 % perfect. I can't wait to read a loooong sequel - just don't let them progress too fast in their relationship. I think this sweet stage has to be relished as long as possible. Thanks for a great evening of reading. :-)

Oh, that was good! Funny and sweet and you have to write a sequel.

And the GayBratz are hilarious, I'm so glad you included the photos!

I've already begun the sequal which looks like it will be humor too!
YAY!:D Can't wait!
That was so funny,a good think that I still have very few neighbours(new building),or I don't think they'd appreciated my hardly restrained giggling at 2 in the night *l*.And the UST *grins*!I'm new to DS slash, and I still feel a bit weird with the idea, but you got me all "yes, yes, kiss him already!"

You're very welcome :).Also, I saw this I find that I can't write short fics - that's just great! Not that short fics aren't good or something, but I hate how they end so quickly!;))
