I'm in the US (Pennsylvania), but I'd be willing to spring for international shipping. It just seems like trying to organize some sort of scheme to minimize that would be, while admirable, extremely time-consuming. I thought this was a good idea precisely because it required almost no organization. Someone starts it, and then each person only has to get the contact info on the person below them.

Oh, I'm not trying to organize anything. It’s just that for me it is important to know from where the "person below" is. I just wouldn’t be able to afford a ship to Japan or Russia. Heck, I would have problems accumulating the amount of money to ship to Canada but I could easily ship to Venezuela or Panama or even Mexico or Argentina. It’s just that.
