The Lake they call Michigan...

Hey all... living so close to the Lake they call Michigan... I thought I would share its beauty with those of you that have never seen it. This is the Michigan side and I'm sure, Ride can tell you the Chicago side is just as beautiful... Hope it's okay to post this here. I need to write a fic about the Lake they call Michigan....

I lived on the shore of the Chicago side for several years. It is every bit as pretty as the Atlantic, and it is quite able to act like an ocean on a bad day-- or a good one.

The Michigan side has way better beaches! Where are you, happy? I grew up in Royal Oak.

I actually live in Indiana about an hour and a half from the lake. Tiny little town called Nappanee. The picture was taken in Manistee, MI one of my favorite places to visit with a small beach so its rarely crowded. I also love the Warren Dunes and I'm heading there this next week.
