Thank you! I had fun with it... First Fraser/Thatcher thing I've ever done... not my favourite pairing by a long way. But I can see how he might get distracted by her.

Go, you! Now you have entered the rarified air of the few Thatchercentric fics that I really <3! And you called this "silly," but I didn't think it WAS silly. Even though I famously slash F/K so hard, my head canon is bi!Fraser, so I can totally picture that Thatcher would cause him moments of distraction. Excellent Fraser-voice, and the subtext was just about killing me dead.

Just one "technical" suggestion. Since nothing actually "happens" between Fraser and Thatcher here, it might better be classified as "Characters : Fraser, Thatcher" rather than "Pairing : Fraser/Thatcher".

Well, I suppose I thought it was silly because, even though it's definitely canon, I find Thatcher so darned annoying! But I think it's a distratction rather than a real attraction, because Thatcher is so different from Fraser. I've got a big spiel I could go into as to why she's wrong for him... but you probably know all the reasons.

On the other hand, he is canonically attracted to her, and it was fun playing around with that. :)

But I agree with you, I'm not a fan of Fraser/Thatcher at all. Surprised myself by writing this one!

Though I've changed the classification. I'm still having trouble working out the best ways to describe what's going on in a fic.

Argh, I'm sorry. It must sound stupid, but I have real difficulty figuring out what the protocols on these things are. Every time I seem to mess up. Believe me, it's not deliberate.

No worries! I fixed the tag. And the present fic is entirely fine here. We just prefer to do "Here is the link to my awesome fic" posts instead of posting the actual story itself on the noticeboard...so, next time just put the link & it's all good.
