Save the date: Canada Day Weekend Party!

Darling Due South and C6D Fen! Friday, June 29 - Sunday, July 1st will be our Canada Day Weekend PARTY here at DS Noticeboard! Save the date!

If there are specific festivities you'd like to see happen, please comment below. What I have on tap so far are the usual social posts, games, hopefully a group viewing party (in skype chat) of whatever media people feel like watching (this can be planned in advance), and possibly -- if I can get a few partners in crime to help me manage the mod-work -- a multimedia fanwork exchange similar to the ficlet + icon exchanges we've done in the past. (I'm investigating ways to make the exchange open to ANY type of fanwork.)

If you can help organize the exchange, you'd need to be available during the whole week leading up to the 29th. If you can help run the chat/viewing party, you'd need to be available for as much of the weekend (6/29-7/1) as possible. If you can volunteer to help put together fannish games posts, that would also rock! Plz either comment below or email me & I'll get back to you with more info! I have no idea what half of this means, but I'd love to participate, if only as an excited member of the audience. It's a few days after my birthday, so I'll be gleefully ignoring the fact I'm getting older. As Ride says, "Squee!"
