Just out of interest, what does c six d fic mean?

(Speaking from my very new and limited knowledge of these things... :) )

C6D stands for "Six Degrees of Canada," and refers to the set of movies/TV that some set of Due South actors have been in (with, as far as I understand it, exactly which actors and which movies/series, somewhat open to debate). So, for example, Slings & Arrows is C6D because it stars Paul Gross; the movie Wilby Wonderful has both Paul Gross and Callum Keith Rennie (kuonji14 recently posted a link here to a Wilby Wonderful fic), and so on... One explanation can be found at c6d_universe. I have inferred from looking at other postings to this community that this community has declared it OK to post links to c6D fics as well as Due South fics, and that that's why the c6d.fic tag exists. But as I joined this community, er, something like a month ago, and have only been actually writing (as opposed to reading) fan fic since January, I am not a particularly good source of this sort of information. :)
