You can sign up to create and receive any combination of fic, art, or vids. YAY multi-media exchanges! \o/

I really wanted to join, but unfortunately my ancient computer hates AO3...I can't do anything on the site but read fic. I can't post or join anything or anything. :(

Huh. Your computer itself really shouldn't be the problem. If anything, it might be a problem with your browser. Have you tried going to the site using a different browser? Failing that, you might consider putting in a support request and people with actual coding know-how can help you out.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's my stupid browser. I haven't attempted to update it because I have dial up. I am getting high speed in about three weeks, and I've made up my mind to try then. (Especially since I can no longer view the nanowrimo site either.)

I did just go to the site again (AO3, I mean), and it seems as if, even though I can't post stories (which I could always do on my cousin's computer when it's time, even if updating my browser didn't help) or view the rules or FAQ I can sign up and fill out the request form. Hmmnn...I think if it will let me I'll sign up anyway. You don't happen to know where there's an old version of the rules and FAQ do you? I think I read them somewhere at some time, but it wouldn't hurt to refresh.
