Character: Turnbull (cameos by Guy, Longfellow and Severn)
Rating: PG

Timeline: Spring of 1994.
Summary: There are a lot of roles a front-line police officer has to be able to fill. A look at one of Turnbull's shifts.
Art
Corporal Chase
That would be Corporal Mike Chase, who was Turnbull's field training officer for the rookie's first six months as an actual, factual Mountie (and co-worker for the rest of his time there), and who had quite a good bit of influence on what kind of officer Turnbull was in Nipawin. He's also mentioned in the Radioplay, though doesn't yet play a part in it. Generally speaking, he is a somewhat cynical, though very adept and good-humored Mountie who isn't always so much loved by his superiors. You can definitely see more of him in the storyline he came from.

Constable Turnbull at twenty-two (the age his world ends in the Radioplay, though this works for... well, any universal version), looking quite serious about something or another. Started off as a speed painting, but then I kept working on it; liked how the negative space came out in this one, as it's one of my favorite artist tricks.
