The dS/C6D Big Bang writers need you! Sign-ups for Betas and First Readers/Cheerleaders are open.
So, what's the difference?
Beta readers will give concrit, helping the writers polish their 20k-words (or more) roughdrafts for posting. We're looking for grammar-lovin' people as well as those who might have trouble wrestling commas but can spot a plot hole like nobody's business.
Meanwhile, First Readers/Cheerleaders encourage writers to get to the finish line. Their feedback is more of the SQUEEE and \o/ variety.
Believe me when I say that both types of volunteers are important. Due to the minimum size of the stories, some authors will seek up to three people to get feedback from.
This year we've got new writers as well as veterans rarin' to get their stories posted. Given the variety of C6D fandoms and pairings, there's something for pretty much everyone to beta and/or cheer.
OK, I want in. Now what?
