Looking for a story...RayK and Ben

I posted this request on dsstoryfinders and serge on yahoogroups...but had no luck...

I thought I had this one in my private archive...I can't find it...

Ben and Ray have been in a bar... they leave and are attacked by
perhaps 5 men....Ben going down and being beaten severely...Ray having
to watch...

It seems a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time...Ben
recoups in Ray's apartment with a severly damaged arm, head injury
and leg injury...they find out that the attackers have done this
before...the investigating officers ask if they are a pair...

The situation leads Ray and Ben to examine their relationship...

I think this is Fear by Honi Soit. I wasn't able to track down a URL for it.

The story is Fear by Honisoit. It is a favorite of mine and I haven't seen it lately.
