Mounties! On Teh Interwebs!

Just popping my head up to say that the CBC is airing a 45min documentary on the RCMP called Mounties Under Fire. The doc looks at the training process at Depot in Regina, current controversies (including the tasering death of Robert Jacanski in Vancouver's International Airport) and what the "new" face of the force looks like. I thought it was fairly informative and the look at the recruitment and training process was certainly interesting, and hopefully some of y'all will find it useful for research-type purposes.

You can watch the whole documentary here, via streaming video at the CBC website. Not sure how long it'll be up, so get it while it's hot! Please let me know if there are regional access problems (i.e. you Yanks not being able to view).

Update: Seems the CBC don't like other nationalities gettin' up in our Canuck bizzness and watching documentaries on their website. Not sure if you UK, European, African, Latin American or Australian folks can view the doc, but you Yanks are out in the cold :-( Sorry about that. Worth a try though, eh?
