Well, no, I think it's pretty clear that the rules don't forbid it. I was just feeling hesitant because no one else had announced any kink meme stuff on the noticeboard.

Exactly, that's what concerns me. I've seen a fair number of posts go up recently in other places, and I wonder if there's been some confusion somewhere along the line.

Hmm, I guess there might be confusion because the kink meme itself was announced on the noticeboard, and then people think they're announcing twice if they point to something that's on it? Or they might think short comment-fic isn't worth announcing.

Yes, although announcements of all challenge responses (other than flashfic & snippets, as they get their own round-up posts) are always welcome. Perhaps I'll circle back to this when it isn't Friday evening of a holiday weekend.
