In the spirit of the holidays, I wrote a recap for season one's Christmas episode, "The Gift of the Wheelman." Though it's less "recap" and more "painstakingly detailed scene-by-scene account." I transcribed most of the dialogue, and included many helpful links. More than were strictly necessary, I'll admit. It was more fun that way.

(For those of you who haven't seen it, this episode was the first in which the ghost of Fraser's father appears, and it won Paul Gross and Gordon Pinsent each a Gemini award back in 1996 for their acting. Paul Haggis' script was also nominated.)

Read my Gift of the Wheelman Recap.

Okay, so that rocked.

You pinpointed a lot of what I like about the episode, including and especially the snarky villain. (Although I personally think the line "I said elves, you morons!" is hysterical, and I, um, use it in conversations sometimes.)

Anyway, nice job with the recap! What's next? *g*

This was great and funny and observant and just the right amount of snarky. Loved the bit about the woodchipper. Hee! And great to have all the screencaps linked in there. Thank you!
