May I suggest that instead of archiving an unfinished story bit by bit you post the chapters to your journal or another LJ location, and archive it when it's completely done? I have to say that personally I don't mind reading stories as they are written, but I really don't like chapter after chapter being posted to an archive. It's better to post only completed works, and, I think, more considerate to readers.
