I've been bad about posting updates/interesting stuff/fic announcements here, and I apologize to those of you who've already seen this stuff.

1. I've finally set a date for the 2008 Alterna-Con of Awesomeness (aka

can_con2008). You can find more information at my original post but the short version is that I'll be holding a con for slash-oriented LJ fen from Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17th, 2008 in Toronto, Ontario. This con is meant to coincide with/supplement the much larger and more official RCW 193 due South Convention, which will going on at the same time. Please check out their website for more information.

You've probably seen them in movies and/or TV shows before. It's in this chapter, just in case you thought I'd gone crazy explaining some weird thing. I remember having to use it for research, which doesn't make me old, just nerdy and cool.
