sageOver on Dreamwidth, there's a fabulous little pan-fandom recs community called ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
bestthingever, which has just expanded its policy to welcome recs for ALL types of fanworks.
The main rule of the comm is recs need to be for new works posted within the last three months; however, they're about to hold a recs fest that will span all of 2012 so far. If this is relevant to your interests, please go and enjoy!

Currently, thursdaynext_27 is reccing over there, and I'll be driving the Due South crack van for March. However, there's no one signed up underneath me to continue our fandom's nine year run. Please consider signing up here to take a turn at the wheel. You can check out what's been recced in the past using the Due South tag on crack_van or (perhaps more easily) by checking out the links to recs kept over at delicious.
If you're at all interested, please don't hesitate to give it a try! This is a pretty low-key thing - you just have to come up with a sentence or two explaining why Fic X rocks your socks. And reccing atcrack_van is an excellent way for newcomers to the fandom to get involved. =)

If you want to try your hand at reccing there, please don't hesitate! Reccing is a lot of fun, and it's also a good way for new people to find their way to the fandom. You don't have to write a long, detailed analysis of a fic when you rec it--just a few sentences about why you liked it is enough.
You can sign up to rec due South here, and if you want to check whether your favorite fics have already been recced, you can do so at Delicious (it's easiest if you sort the tags alphabetically to find the author you want to check).

akamine_chancrack_van is a great multifandom reccing resource, one that has generated over 700 recs for due South. There is only one more driver signed up, and then there will be no one reccing. Please consider signing up here and reccing your favorite due South stories. There is even a Delicious list of all the previous recs here so you know what's already been recced. And then I comment on the fic for a long, long time. This isn't a fic I've heard discussed anywhere before, so the commentary is pretty rudimentary, but. It's a start.
