I think Fraser did ask Ray and not Vecchio to dinner. I think my point was that Ray doesn't think of himself as Stanley ever. Only his mother calls him that. Even as as a kid, he called himself Ray and Stella calls him Ray. So, even in his subconscious I don't think he'd call himself Stanley Kowalski. I just don't see it.
