AO3 C6D searchability improvement!

via AO3 Support: Canadian 6 Degrees is now it's own fandom on the Archive -- located under Other Media (because it's an umbrella fandom uniting other fandoms of various media) -- and "Canadian Actor RPF (C6D)" is now a subtag of "Canadian 6 Degrees".

C6D SUB-FANDOMS, such as S&A, Wilby, etc., are automatically wrangled under the C6D umbrella because luzula is awesome like that. However, those large fandoms with C6D tangential characters, such as Leoben in BSG, are NOT, because BSG in general is its own fandom.

Therefore, if you want your work containing C6D characters to be findable on the AO3 via the "Canadian 6 Degrees" (aka "C6D - Fandom") tag, then follow these instructions:

1. Log in to the AO3
2. Select "Edit Tags" on your C6D works.
3. On the Fandoms line, add either "Canadian 6 Degrees" or "C6D - Fandom". These tags are synned, so clicking Canadian 6 Degrees will pull all the works with each tag.

Due South's 18th Birthday Party!

Come celebrate Due South turning 18 this Saturday the 22nd, starting at about 1pm Chicago time (CDT)! Dig out your Due South DVDs and chat via Skype's free instant messenger (not the video/phone chat, just text) -- we'll all press play at the same time and have an international viewing party! Woohoo! \o/

We'll start with the Pilot and whatever other eps people want to watch for as long as there are people in the chatroom who want to keep watching. (C6D media is also an option if people are so inclined!) Feel free to come and go as different time zones roll around -- this is meant to be very laid back, flexible, and fun!
