Ordinary Days, Ordinary Nights

A while ago I read the most poignant and beautiful post COTW story, by busaikko, called Ordinary Days. I would try to summarise it, but it needs to be read to be appreciated. http://archiveofourown.org/works/92755?view_adult=true
Anyway, that story literally haunted me, and I finally wrote a sequel/response to it (with busaikko's permission.) Ordinary Nights. http://archiveofourown.org/works/434272
The first piece is from Ray's point of view, the second from Fraser's. I cried reading the first, cried writing the second, but there's some strange hope in the situation our boys are in, so I hope you enjoy them.
Also, worth listening to the song that busaikko chose originally for the 'theme tune'.
