The Chicago Tribune had an article today about the various Curling Clubs in Chicago: Sweeping the country: Some call curling a small sport, but its enthusiasts will let it slide
For those doing research:
a. It lists the locations of all four clubs. None are easily accessible by public transit- you would need to take the Metra Commuter Train, and then walk two or three miles. Or get a ride from someone named Ray. And to get to them from the city? It's easy to go through Skokie. If you wanted to.
b. They talk about how Canada has more people who curl than play hockey
c. They talk to a 94 year old woman who just retired from curling last year.
In short: Chicago. Canada. You just can't keep them apart.
