Angst Drabble Tree and a Birthday Fic

ds_team_angst has begun a drabble tree as part of the prewriting/teambuilding exercises leading up to ds_flashfiction's Matchup challenge. There is already some terrific writing on display; the drabbles are short and sad and bittersweet. All of them are guaranteed to put a little angst in your cornflakes. Please come check out the drabbles and cheer the writers along.

Thing the First:
eledhwenlin will be hosting another writing chat. People had a lot of fun last time and so it stands to reason that you would have a lot of fun if you were to attend.

I am hosting another watching things chat at 10pm EDT. This week: Men with Brooms! Look at the icon! Look how adorable! If you don't already own it (which seems unlikely), please acquire it quickly and join us.

eledhwenlin and I are also in the early stages of planning a Slings &  Arrows marathon for October 20thish, in the interest of global community building and also watching really awesome things. I'll have more details and fun with polling (ticky boxes for all!) soon.
