I'm sure you're aware of [livejournal.com profile] ds_weekly the weekly digest newsletter comm for the ds fandom.

Did you know it has a meta and discussion section?

Yep, way down toward the bottom you'll find the links to meta and discussions within the fandom. That's the section where notification of the weekly episode discussion for [livejournal.com profile] ds_reruns goes.

However compared to other sections it always looks a bit bare and yet I know there's some great meta discussion going on out there that I'm sure the wider fandom would love to see.

So if you have asked a question on Fraser's manners, made an entry about Dief's junkfood habit or discussed the relative merits of the Riv versus the GTO versus a dogsled I'd love to hear about it so it can be put in the digest.

Seriously anything that sounds vaguely meta-like can be included. If you're not sure just ask me ;-)

Simply pimp the link to your discussion to one of the ds comms (such as [livejournal.com profile] ds_noticeboard, [livejournal.com profile] ds_discourse, [livejournal.com profile] dues_research, [livejournal.com profile] ds_slash, [livejournal.com profile] ds_closet, etc) and when I'm compiling I'll find it. Or you can pimp it direct to me my commenting on the last digest at [livejournal.com profile] ds_weekly.

So go on share the meta love with your fellow ds fen.

And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] china_shop for taking the time to suggest this.

I've updated HieroglyFICS with my latest stories and recs:

Third Date Rule, originally posted here at [livejournal.com profile] ds_flashfiction
Ray/Ray, PG, drama, 2800 words.
Summary: Ray thought that maybe Vecchio was seeing him as someone other than his ex-wife's ex-husband, and his ex-partner's…ex-partner. And maybe he could see Vecchio as someone other than all that stuff, too.

Unbelievable, originally posted here at [livejournal.com profile] stop_drop_porn
Welsh/Thatcher, R, humor/PWP, 1500 words
Summary: Inspector Thatcher is acting peculiar. (Takes place directly after the episode Seeing is Believing; if you remember the ep, you'll know why she is acting peculiar.)

I've also added two dS story recs and one dS vid rec to the due South section of HieroglyFICS: recs.
