I posted a small medium-sized article in my journal:

Slash vs. Canon

In here I’ve taken some scenes from dS and tried to determine their slash/subtext-factor.

I’ve gotta admit that I’m an F/K-OTPler and therefore might be biased when it comes to reading subtext and interpreting canon. My slasher’s heart always jumps up and down and screams “They are so in love” whenever my boys just so much as look at each other.

But still I want to try and have a look at those scenes all F/K-shippers mention when we discuss subtext, and try to figure out how positive they really are. I’m not trying to prove anything, and for sure I won’t come to the conclusion: “Sorry all ye F/V-people – you’re wrong. Deal with it”. I’m just trying to analyse...
