Hello all...just an update. TONS of you all have claimed prompts over at getfraserlaid, but there are still a whole bunch of prompts left! Every imaginable crossover and pairing, plus general prompts. This is a fun, relaxed challenge, so you should come play! Prompt claiming will go through today and tomorrow, but you can still hop over and grab something after that if you forgot or changed your mind.

Last night I posted an essay puzzling out questions of plot at ds_workshop. Please go have a look. :D

I'm writing this post because I have absolutely no confidence in doing plot. My degree is in poetry and the writing program never taught us anything about constructing story, so the following is what I've learned on my own and from what others have carefully explained to me (over and over again) while I scratched my head and tried to understand.

Just a quick note to say there are still tons of great prompts over at getfraserlaid. This is a very laid-back challenge, and over 100 prompts have been claimed already, but I'd love to see others participate.
