For the apocalyptothon, I received a wonderful dS fic: Spem Abicite by gentle_thorns. It's Fraser/Kowalski, the tone is spare and achingly lovely, and the voices are just *nailed*. Please go read -- don't let the apocalyptic context throw you off. This is not an angst fest, just an intimate, drawn-out moment in their relationship.
