Writers Revealed Today! All Day!

aerye.livejournal.comIn a slight change from published policy, rather than holding the reveal of all writers names to midnight tonight, writers have been invited to update their stories with attributions throughout the day today. Later tonight, I will upload a new index that will include a directory of the stories by writers.
Writers also have the opportunity now to attach other story notes to their entries, name their betas, etc., etc., etc. As of today, the writers are released from any restrictions on publication, so you may also see stories posted to individual writers' LJs, or see links published to individual web sites or stories uploaded to an archive--whatever takes the writer's fancy! ds_seekritsanta journal with a link to the story elsewhere as long as they provide some information on the existing post about where the story can be found.
Writers who publish the stories in their own LJs or on their web sites may also redirect comments to their personal LJs and disable comments on theds_seekritsanta post. Existing comments will not be lost (although remember, writers, your ability to respond to those comments will be lost as well). In these situations I have asked writers to replace the story on ds_seekritsanta with a link to the story in their LJ, so that folks don't read it on ds_seekritsanta and then get frustrated because they can't comment there. I've also encouraged writers to attach email addresses to their stories for later convenience in sending feedback.
All of these changes are mostly in service of my own inherent laziness and I hope they don't detract from your enjoyment of the reveal. Think of it as a long delicious strip-tease with a lot of foreplay and multiple orgasms, rather than a "shuck the clothes and hit the sack" fuck.
Finally, I want to thank all of the writers who truly are the ones who make this happen. We had FORTY-SEVEN NEW DUE SOUTH STORIES thanks to their efforts and they are to be applauded. Hip-hip-hooray to all of you!
