For anybody who was planning to attend the special Wilby Wonderful screenings at the Brattle theater 3/18-3/19, I've had some info passed along to me:

Unfortunately Daniel MacIvor will not be able to attend, as he has a new play in rehearsals. Ellen Page (Emily) however, will be there, and the Chlotrudis Society for Independent Film is still talking to other Wilby cast members about attending.

I'll pass along more info as I get it.

Just a heads up that comments still drop into my mailbox on these stories every week. If you are a writer and haven't looked at your story in a while, you may want to drop by and review any new comments. And readers--feedback may get back to writers more quickly if you email them directly. I will try to get the site updated this weekend with all of the writers' email addresses.

Sergeant Frobisher: "They have called this day "The Eleventh of March." And whom-so-ever of you gets through this day, unless you are shot in the head or somehow slain you will stand a hipnal when e'er you hear the name again and you will get excited at the name March the Eleventh. We happy few, we few, we band of brothers; our names will be as like household names: Those who are not here, be they sleeping or doing something else. They will feel themselves. . . sort of crappy. Because they are not here to. . . to join the fight. On this day, March the Eleventh!"

thanks to my friend [livejournal.com profile] brendalu who reminded me of it.
