30 Below: Go Wild! (April 22-∞)

And finally we arrive at the actual anniversary date!

This week's only goal is to do whatever your heart desires. There are no prompts.

Think of it as amnesty period, if you'd like. Only there's still no deadline and no pressure! The whole year is anniversary year. You're never too late. The AO3 collection is open indefinitely.

If you want to do your thing in your circle, that's great! If you want others to see it, please link or post it here or over at [community profile] dsvirtualbar. Plus, let me know if you want any of it crossposted or linked at the fest's tumblr blog!

Since there's way too much participation on tumblr to fit into a masterpost—at least for me right now—I will make a tags rundown post soon to help you navigate the blog and see all the fun going on over there!

Happy anniversary, my friends!

Now completing the thematic responses to the 30 Below Fest of which I already did six and now here's the seventh.

For "Go Wild Week" I'm choosing to do it as reccing in two categories that I wouldn't ordinarily rec: reccing a WIP and reccing a tagged "unfinished and discontinued". (Coincidentally, both of these dS fics are science fiction AUs and are F/K.)

For one, there's the series Real Life on AO3, currently comprised of two completed parts ("Real Boys" and "Real Worlds") and with a third part ("Real Girls") that's an active WIP posting snippet-by-snippet on Dreamwidth. On AO3 the author's pseud is MSSalieri and on Dreamwidth it's [personal profile] troyswann (also, in some other fannish spaces, simply "salieri").

The other is The Xenobiology Service on AO3 by [personal profile] luzula. She is still very much active in writing fic, but has been writing in a fandom other than dS for some time now. While I'm sad that she doesn't plan to continue this fic, what there is of it I <3 so much that I've read it and reread it multiple times over the course of years.
