Just a reminder that tomorrow is January 7th--that is, David Marciano's birthday--so if you made any frottage related fic, art, podfics, fanmixes, and/or yarn crafts, tomorrow is the day to post them!   Link me to your work in the comments of this post, and I'll compile a masterlist tomorrow evening.

It is 10am on January 7th where I live (happy birthday David Marciano - I join in the fervent wish that you not Google yourself very often), so here you go No such thing (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1123193), Stella Kowalski/Ray Vecchio, mature, first time fic!

Also my first time writing het and it turns out that yes, it is MUCH harder than slash because of all those pesky gender stereotypes and the sexual double standard and the balance of power and equality that you can't take for granted when a man and a woman go to bed together and all these things I was theoretically aware of when choosing to write slash and which reared up to make het more complicated.

I am EXCITED to read this (again) but I can't because I meant to start work an hour ago and I need to do it NOW. But it will be my reward when I give myself a break.

Also congratulations for writing it even though het is harder than slash and makes you think about all those things which make writing it more difficult. See! You can do it!

Hooray! I am so glad that you wrote this because I love it and I am off straight away to read it again. And if you struggled with all those things, I didn't see a hint of it in the story so go you! :D
