Sorry, my Canada Day weekend plans for a social, mini-prompt fest, etc., have fallen through the cracks -- this month has been one crisis after another for me in RL, and I just don't have time to plan the party I wanted to. HOWEVER! If any of y'all want to step up and throw a fest instead? PLEASE DO!! All I ask is for it to be an ALL-character-love type of shindig because exclusion & bashing make the mods super-cranky, as we cherish every character, including BOTH Rays, Stella, Meg, Frannie, Gardino, Turnbull, Welsh, and stop me before I list the whole cast. *g*

Again, my apologies for falling down on the job here. I hope you all have a fabulous, safe, and happy Canada Day weekend, wherever in the world you are! With luck, I'll be able to put something festive together a bit later this summer. Thanks!

YAY! Thank you! Some things that were on my list: a DS/C6D picspam post, where people post pics in the comments. A series of Mad Libs, where someone says "comment with 4 verbs, 7 adjectives, etc." and then edits the post several hours later revealing the DS/C6D-related drabble. (Repeated as often as desired.) A multi-fanwork prompt meme. A group skype viewing of the Pilot, MOTB, and/or COTW. Another get-to-know-you social questionnaire post. Stuff like that. Feel free to take any or all of these and run with them. Again, the main rule is to welcome fannish love of ALL the characters/zero tolerance for bashing. Manifestos on why Gardino is awesome need to be as welcome as Vecchio/Stella, F/K romance, plotty gen AUs, etc. :)
