Then get yourself a screen name(should be step-by-step from the beginning).After that go to People->Send instant message.A box will pop up.Type one of our screen names in the "To:" and ask to be invited. I haven't updated my version of AIM,so there maybe some slight differences,but the general idea is that.I hope that was half-coherent :P
