Useless (slightly sleazy) gossip...

What you discover waiting in line...

I was standing in the checkout line at Target earlier this evening, having run out of conditioner (and when your hair's four feet long that's an issue); and since the line was particularly lengthy, I was idly flipping through People magazine to distract myself from the whiny child begging for candy from his harried mother in line behind me.

In the midst of pictures of celebrities in silly clothes and snide sniping at Scientology was a two-inch sidebar piece announcing the marriage of Dean McDermott to Tori Spelling on May 7, in Fiji, in a private ceremony. Well, whatever...

But what amused me were two things:

1st: How poorly do you have to behave to get People magazine, a sensationalist tabloid of the lowest level, to refer to you as a 'cad'? I snickered!

2nd: In the photo of the happy couple, I actually had to look twice to realize it was him... he looked so weird and well, sleazy! It was like looking at Pimp!Turnbull.

Anyway, I got a good chuckle out of it and thought I'd share the guffaw...
