well, originally emo stands for a movement in the hardcore music genre in the late 80s and early 90s. punk rock that's emotional and full of self-pity and stuff. nowadays i normally use it for a state of mind where one feels sorry for oneself and is just generally dark and moody and brooding about thing and ... well, just emo! ::grins:: sorry, i'm really not good at explaining things like that.
