Some PG/Martha Burns "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" current run stuff

Some dSc6d-related "Virginia Woolf" stuff was posted on Facebook recently, such as this one:

Here are non-Facebook links to these (in case the Facebook links don't work):

An interview with the "power couple", on YouTube

One of the FB posts was by Canadian Stage, with a photo & links to buy tickets... There's no link for the photo, so I screen shot it:

Also, there's a review of WAoVW, and a CBC article about WAoVW and Wights, another play being staged currently, down the street from WAoVW.

Oof. Definitely a set of roles for powerful performers, and more power to 'em, but I hate this play (and it has not aged especially well, either).

Also, has PG played any sympathetic characters lately? :/

Hmmm...how sympathetic do you consider the character of Mr. Lockhart, portrayed on stage recently by PG in "The Seafarer"?

The <3s were for Paul and Martha, not for the play itself, which yeah, as a fellow "child of divorce" I never gravitated to plays about bad marriages and divorces. (I did see the Taylor/Burton movie back in the 1970s when I was in film class in college.)

I'm not familiar with that one. Minus points to my theatre geek cred! :)

I haven't kept up with PG much either -- the most recent thing I can think of actually seeing him in is Alias Grace where he is a creepy villain. But I haven't seen him onstage, for example.

Well, I did say "how sympathetic do you consider..." since I have not seen the whole play.
