Podfic: Absence by how_obscure

I'm experimenting with the wonderful world of podfic. I recorded my first one tonight. Just a little snippet I wrote for dsc6dsnippets on DW.

I am about ready to weep with aggravation at not being able to access your podfic (but anyways, yay you for beginning to podfic). It's past 4:30 AM and I've been trying for nearly an hour to access your podfic. First the site told me I had to download iLivid, and I did that -- and it took a really long time -- but now even though I went through the iLivid download procedure, I keep trying and trying to access your podfic and it keeps telling me I have to download iLivid, and it's slowing things up with my computer, too. *headdesk*

Wow, well, I certainly applaud your tenacity and thank you for trying so hard to access it. Is it possible you're clicking the wrong download link? I seem to recall sendspace having a bunch of advertisements with downloads to the point that it is confusing which link is actually the one you came there for, which sucks, but I didn't know where else to put it since MU has gone kaput.

Hm...I looked at the download page myself just a minute ago. You need to click on the light blue rectangular box that is toward the bottom center of the page. It opens up another tab with a plugin download, but that's just, like, an ad or something. Just close that out and the prompt for downloading the podfic should be on the original download page. In my case, it's a yellow bar at the bottom of the page. I have Windows Vista. Depending on what OS you have, the prompt may appear differently.

Well, I've had a lot of previous trouble with sendspace. Best results with audiofic jinjurly.

Oh yes, LMK when it's up. I <3 your adventuring into podfics, and I especially look for short!fic in podfics.
